Miami’s Golden Rule
Just in case current and future players in the University of Miami’s College football program have forgotten the Hurricanes’ championship legacy — and the commitment that’s needed to reach that plateau — Al Golden plans to offer a refresher course. “The football program, it’s time we put it all together,” Golden said. “There’s a tremendous tradition here, a tradition of winning of championships. There is no other standard.”

Miami Hurricanes coach Randy Shannon banned his team from using Twitter last week, citing the desire to limit distractions and keep the focus on football. Shannon told The Associated Press on Sunday that the Twitter ban had “nothing” to do with comments that any player received on the networking site. Read More >>
