The NFL’s Fan Conduct

Heed the new code of conduct implemented by the NFL today. Misbehaving spectators now have the option to be ejected, even barred from coming back. The usual rederick includes unruly and disruptive behavior including foul or abusive language and gestures, interfering with the game in anyway. Impairment or signs of drunkenness but only apparently if it leads to irresponsible behavior, which leads to the question of whether or not there are other types of drunken behavior at a game.
It is apparent that this years NFL experience is going to be an ‘improved’ experience and more centered around a family oriented experience. One team’s fans of note would have to be the Cleveland Browns. The league apparently has left the option open for local franchise provisions which may be included in mailers and posted at the stadiums themselves.
MLB Uniform History – Player Names
In 1960, the Chicago White Sox became the first team to place a player’s name on the back of the teams jersey. Mainly the result of the MLB’s continued expansion of teams in the early 60s it certainly was time to cater more to newcomers and die hard fans alike in discerning some of their favorite play makers and being able to track opposing players performance etc. I imagine the broadcast announcers welcomed the addition to MLB jerseys as well.
