The Dallas Cowboys Fix

Stand up players do exist and they voice opinions that need to be addresses. What a great thing to experience! In a day of bending over and holding back your true feelings for the sake of being politically correct Terrell Davis shines.
“The first guy that’s got to go is T.O.,” said Terrell Davis when discussing his thoughts on hot to go about fixing the Dallas Cowboys.
Cancer is certainly a strong way of putting it but if the NFL is going to save face and be a stand up orgonization these types of subjects should be addressed. It wasn’t malicious and could be agreed by many who have worked with Terrell Owens It has been reflected in his career path, just never put so blatently.
Mangini From First to Unemployed
Eric Mangini is another in a long line of unemployed head coaches. In a time where it would be great to be out perusing cheap real estate the NFL team owners have been dropping head coaches with the quickest of fashion. Any follower of this years football season is familiar with the scenario of the New York Jets previously great rise to the playoffs sitting alone atop the AFC East.
Jerricho Cotchery commented on behalf of the team stating “I feel that we let him down and we could have done a better job of making plays.”
But when it came down to brass tax and decision time New York Jets owner Woody Johnson capped his decision with these well placed words, “We had to go in a different direction. There’s nothing specific. It’s just a call we made. Hopefully, it’s correct.”
With or without Brett next year and Brett Favre being healthy is going to be a significant factor. Mangini will certainly be remembered but this decision and Johnson’s words will soon be forgotten regardless of what occurs. Just another suprising outcome that ends what has been an interesting season but here is to our hopes that Mangini was at least prepared.
