With a green light in the emerald city the Seattle Sounders have been a driving force balancing some of the lackluster sports teams of late in Seattle. With the season continuing on the sounders continue to see themselves in fine fashion, with sold out tickets to every home game this season.

Moving into MLS All-Start fan voting, available online thru July 6th, has increased from 8 Sounders players starting for the All-Star team to now 10 of the 11 available starting positions which is unprecedented considering the Sounders is simply an expansion team debuting this 2009 season.

However to clarify, the voting that that has catapulted a near complete starting all star team chaulk full of Sounders players does not in fact translate into the actual starting 11 players of the MLS all-star tea – a decision that will be made by MLS coaching staff. In fact they will not even factor into the other three major voting system of media, MLS players and coaching/team general managers.

So why the cherade? The online fan voting comprises of 25% of the total MLS All-Star team vote. I always saylet the fans speak for their beloved game but politics must take precident.
