seahawks_fan1.jpgThe inception of the 12th man dates back to Texas 1922 and has since become a phenomenon in the Seahawk’s stadium. Once inside there is no doubt of the sheer volume this concept brings Seahawk fans on game day. After the face paint has been diligently applied and their 12th man Seahawks jerseys slipped on, fans are ready to make a difference.

Deemed on of the hardest places to play on game day it is not just about your attire, but also your noise impact. Seahawks fans have thrived on this idea and Seattle loves a winning team so once the momentum begins the louder Seahawks fans cheer.

Each time an apposing team comes to Quest Field they know another element is going to be ever present…

Teams have come to recognize the importance of discipline in a stadium like Seahawks but the Seahawks 12th man has caused 68 false-start penalties by opponents during the last three seasons. And every good story cannot be without at least one investigation including the investigation on the source of such a loud stadium. However this has only seemed to make Seahawks fans determined to become louder. The tradition of the 12th man has every Seahawks fan ready to cheer and ready to be called down and suited up each one adorning their Seahawks NFL jerseys.
