With Favre’s same role on a new team, it certainly going to be a closely watched subject in the NFL this season. With so many opinions stemming from what transpired for the veteran players trade to a new team. So far things seem to be coming together well as Favre continues to find his groove and most importantly Favre needs to feel at home with new personnel.

There will certainly be a transition seeing the former Green Bay quarterback in his new Favre Jets Jersey after being accustomed for so many years to his Green Bay attire. I wanted to get this game over with. It was a positive anxiety, a positive nervousness. It’s better than not having any feeling at all.”

Although it is pre-season and Favre’s role is going to be limited he appeared crisp. There is undoubtedly a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time and this type of transition takes work and repetition but in the coming weeks a lot will become clear in the controversial outcome for football’s ironman.
