With the minority share purchase of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins Gloria and Emilio Estefan less then a season after the single most turnaround season marks the first Cuban-American’s tp pwm part of an NFL team.

“This is a historical moment for all Latinos — a moment that proves that dreams do come true,” Emilio Estefan said in a statement.

 Somewhat of a ploy it is still a great feat for the couple, Cuban-Americans and the opportunity in America.

“‘I wanted to bring ownership to this team that reflects the community,” said Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross in announcing the Estefans’ new stake in the team.

Most likely a deal that Gloria mainly just follow through in support of her husband, this image may however just caught her at an innoportune moment.

“The Estefans are known internationally as true visionaries in entrepreneurship, entertainment and business,” Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said in a statement. “We are looking forward to their contributions to help enhance the game-day experience for our fans.”

At this point the deal has yet to be disclosed but, “If there’s one thing Emilio knows, it’s PR and marketing,” Gloria said.

Perhaps Dolphins coverage on Telemundo, yet another step towards an increase in worldwide NFL fanbase, coverage and reach.

”We’re definitely going to get involved with some of the music,” Emilio Estefan said. Though he did not announce any performances, he said, “I would love to bring live music with the games because that brings a lot of energy.”
