Major League Baseball has announced that during a pre-game ceremony a partial list of additional Hall of Famers will be recognized including Luis Aparicio, Wade Boggs, Gary Carter, Orlando Cepeda, Rollie Fingers, Bob Gibson, Ralph Kiner, Eddie Murray, Earl Weaver and Dave Winfield.

The list of 10 Hall of Famers will be honored prior to the 79th MLB All-Star game on Tuesday July 15th. But this years All-Star Game will also be somewhat of an honorary event in itself as it will be held at Yankee Stadium during its last year as the home of the New York Yankees. Also a number of MLB players who are being inducted with this announcement – Dave Winfield, Wade Boggs, Gary Carter and Ralph Kiner – all have ties with the Yankees franchise
